Tractor Stories - Oliver 99 Industrial

This 99 Oliver Industrial was purchased at the David Meade estate auction at Dutton Montana by Cari Vogel Ostberg (Dale’s daughter) who lives in Montana. The serial number 70072 makes it a 1941 model year.

From 1939 to 1945 the industrials were also called ‘50’. The 99 industrial tractors were made from 1932 thru 1947. This particular tractor is set up to run dual rear wheels. The 99 has 4-3/4” bore with a 443 inch displacement. The fuel tank holds 34 gallons. The cooling system holds 9 gallons of water. The crankcase holds 3 gallons of oil.

The 99 was brought to Wisconsin in 2006 and restored in 2007 by Dale Vogel of Fennimore Wisconsin.

The 28-44 models became the 90 and later became the 99. The 90 and 99 AG tractors were made from 1937 thru 1957.

Tractor Stories - 1951 Farmall Cub

I am the proud owner of a 1951 Farmall Cub. This tractor came into my possesion by me trading my fourwheeler and the reason I was so eager to do this was because this is the same year and model that my Great-Grandpaw Bearden owned. Me being 18 at the time of purchase had the honor of working on it with both my Father and Grandfather and was able to proudly run the two together side by side. I just wish more folks my age was into this sort of “hobby”. God bless you all and thank you for listening to my story.

How do I install my new part?

Did you know that we have a page dedicated entirely to instructions and diagrams. JR is always adding new information to help you with your part installation and handle any questions you may have.

Over 40 new diagrams on seat bolt patterns and measurements were added this week alone. The documents are listed alphabetically by part number, followed by miscellaneous information under brand.

This is a 1944 model A John Deere with a no.15 John Deere Cotton Stripper. This pic was taken in Feb. 2011, when a freak cold snap hit our area. It was 4 degrees outside at that time with windchills in the -20's, which we had not seen in over 20 years in West Texas. I will soon be using Steiner Tractor Parts to restore this tractor and stripper for a good friend, Kent Kahl.
