Tractor Photo Contest - Your Tractor Could Be On Our Cover

We are looking for the best antique tractor photo to appear on the cover of our 2011 Steiner Tractor Parts catalog. The winner will also be featured on our website and our digital catalog cd cover. Now is your chance to have your tractor restoration seen by the thousands of people that visit our website and read our catalog daily.

Anyone with an antique tractor, a digital camera and a desire to win is encouraged to enter! Dan Steiner will have the final vote on the winning photo - an antique tractor that we sell parts for and that is photographed beautifully. Each individual is permitted to submit up to three tractor photos.* The photos must be less than 3MB to upload through the website (though we may contact the winners for a higher resolution for print purposes).

The contest opens for participation on Friday, June 25, 2010 and will run through Saturday, July 31, 2010. We will announce the winner on August 15 via our website, e-mail, Facebook© and Twitter™. The grand prize winner will receive bragging rights among antique tractor enthusiasts everywhere!

Be sure to use the built in share features to share your entry with your social network including family and friends. The more voting, the better! Also, if you provide more details about the make and model of the tractor(s) and the location of the photo(s), you are likely to entice people to vote for your tractor.

Grandpa's Ford 8N

This is my grandfather’s tractor. It is a 1952 Ford 8N Funk 6 cylinder conversion. This tractor use to be apart of Washington State University AG Dept. When my Gradfather got it, it was in rough shape a few thousand dollars later the tractor has a new life and is a pulling tractor used at tractor pulls all over Washington. The tractor is tons of fun and that flathead six turns heads when she runs by.

1948 Case SO

I bought this 1948 Case SO about a year ago hoping to turn it into a pulling tractor. As you can see by the photos this tractor has turned into quite the puller. Though in rough shape I hope to turn it into a looker. The engine is sound other than the one push rod that was bent but was an easy fix. I hope to get back to you soon with updated pictures of the restoration.

1953 John Deere 50

Hello! My name is Gayle Eaton. I am a retired public educator who has farm roots, and in 2006 I purchased a 1953 John Deere model 50 for $1,500 because it reminded me of one my Dad had owned years before when he farmed in southern Idaho. This nostalgic purchase led to a ten-month long process and an investment of over $6,000, but it was all worth the effort because I now own a cherished and preserved piece of rural Americana.

Curwood Festival Parade

The Steiner sponsored youth hockey team joined others walking in the Curwood Festival Parades. The festival was June 3rd - 6th in Owosso Michigan.

The younger kids had the opportunity to skate in the two parades and show off the skills they learned this season. On Friday approximately 15 kids and their parents walked and on Saturday 30 kids with parents.
